About Em-eukal

Em-eukal is a brand name of the family company Dr. C. Soldan from Adelsdorf, Franconia, Germany.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the pharmacist Dr. Carl Soldan developed the Em-eukal candy recipe with eucalyptus and menthol, which was marketed as a medicine from 1923. In 1972 Kinder Em-eukal was also launched. Since 2015, Em-eukal and Kinder Em-eukal have also been available as chewable gumdrops. Today the sweets are sold in pharmacies, drugstores and food retailers.

Em-eukal was registered as a trademark in 1928.

Also a registered trademark of the sweets is a white and red band with the inscription “Only genuine with the flag”, which was originally intended to protect against hygiene. You should be able to tear open the candy wrapper with the ribbon under the wrapper without having to touch the candy. Em-eukal Classic was prescribed to miners up until the 1950s.

The picture of a little boy on the packaging of Kinder Em-eukal is protected as a figurative mark.

The Em-eukal brand has received multiple awards in the marketing and food industries.
