The combination of fresh, juicy apples and fluffy cream makes our apple tart simply irresistible and suitable for every occasion. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a festive coffee table, a relaxed coffee get-together with friends or a summer party – thanks to the apple pudding cream, the cake tastes more refreshing than sumptuous even in summer.
This popular treat can be prepared without much effort and is also suitable for cake baking beginners.

For the cream: 250 grams of cold cream

Preparation
Prepare the dough
Preheat the oven to top/bottom heat: approx. 175 °C (convection: approx. 150 °C) and line a springform pan (Ø 26 cm) with baking paper.
Now put the baking mixture, soft butter and the egg in a mixing bowl and knead into a dough using an electric hand mixer (dough hook). Pour the dough into the lined springform pan and press down on the bottom and edges to create a rim approx. 2 cm high.
Prepare and bake the filling
Next, the apples should be prepared: wash, peel, core and cut the apples into small pieces.
Then mix the cream powder with about 5 tablespoons of water. Bring the remaining water to a boil and add the mixed cream powder, stirring constantly. Bring to the boil and stir in the apple pieces.
Now the apple mixture can be put into the springform pan and smoothed out. Bake the cake on the middle rack in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes.
Cool and garnish
If the cake is well baked, the cake should cool down in the mold for about 2 hours.
When the cake has cooled, remove it from the mold. Finally, whip the cold cream until stiff, spread on the cake and sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar.
Tip: The cake can also be prepared a day before serving. Simply refrigerate the cake overnight and then garnish with whipped cream and a cinnamon-sugar mixture on the day of serving.
