Before we started with Delikator, we worked in international trade for a long time. It was interesting to see which products from Germany are popular with people who have visited Germany, want to visit or once lived there.
We had the idea for a German products export trade company for a while. And then… the coronavirus changed the world, and it also affected us and our previous way of working. But we made a virtue out of necessity, and with the idea in mind, it now was time to start the company that’s now called Delikator German Foods.
What do people think of first when they think of products from Germany? Well, cars and beer. But is there more than that? Yes of course…
Both tourists and German emigrants miss and appreciate certain products from Germany. People in nearby EU countries, as well as all around the world.
The most respected good is certainly the German baking and bread culture. German confectionery is also extremely popular, especially in North America, but also increasingly in Southeast Asia. Many who love sweet and salty foods appreciate products from Germany very much
Coffee from Germany is of course also popular to many. Not to forget the typical German dishes, which are prepared with sauerkraut or potatoes.
