Leuchtenberg is the oldest sauerkraut factory in Germany. Founded in 1861 in Neuss, Rhineland. It produces sauerkraut from white cabbage, as well as canned vegetables with lactofermented beans and red cabbage, as well as stews. In 2017, production and the headquarters of the management were relocated to Rheinische Konservenfabrik Georg Seidel GmbH & Co. KG in Bornheim.
