Description

The Dr. Oetker Naked Cake baking mix is a small cream cake and the nut variety tastes particularly creamy and nutty. With the trendy layered look, the hazelnut cream cake looks good enough to eat on any coffee table. Because the special thing about the naked cakes is that you can already see the individual layers of fluffy batter and creamy topping from the outside.

The delicious Naked Cake Hazelnut is wonderfully easy to prepare with the baking mix. Only three additional ingredients – margarine, eggs & milk – are required for the batter. With the practical baking pan (Ø 18 cm), the base is baked in just 35 minutes. After the base has cooled, the cake is cut horizontally and the prepared nut cream spread layer by layer on the base. Then the decorating fun begins with fruits, sweets or decorative products

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

This is what the pack contains:

  • 235 g baking mix for the dough
  • 60 g mix for the topping
  • 1 x baking tin Ø 18 cm

Just add:

  • 100 g soft margarine or butter (3.53 oz. )
  • 2 eggs (size M)
  • 125 ml milk (a half cup)
  • 400 g cold whipped cream (14.1 oz.)
  • about 2 tbsp decoration , e.g. Dr. Oetker Hazelnut Brittle

You will also need: 1 baking tray

1 PREPARE

Set up the baking tin according to the instructions (on the baking tin). Place the mold on the baking sheet.

Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: around 170°C / 340°F
TIP: The base can be baked the day before.

2 DOUGH

Put the baking mixture for the dough in a mixing bowl. Add margarine or butter, eggs and 25 ml (0.85 oz.) milk.

Mix everything with a mixer (stirring rods) briefly on the lowest level, then 3 minutes on the highest level to form a smooth dough.

Pour the batter into the form, spread and bake. Insertion: lower third; Baking time: 35-40 min. Place the cake in the tin on a wire rack.

After 10 minutes, loosen and remove the paper ring – without a knife.

Leave the cake to cool for at least 2 hours.

Loosen and remove the bottom plate with a knife. Cut the base in half horizontally. Place the bottom layer on a cake plate.

3 TOPPING

Pour the whipping cream and 100 ml (3.38 US fl.oz.) milk into a mixing bowl. Add mixture for topping. Beat everything with the mixer (stirring rods) briefly on the lowest level, then on the highest level until stiff.

Spread 1/3 of the cream on the bottom layer, up to the edge. Place middle base and spread 1/2 of the remaining cream on top.

Place the top layer on top and spread the remaining cream over it. Place the cake in the fridge for at least 2 hours.

Before serving garnish with Dr. Oetker hazelnut brittle or a decoration of your choice. Have fun decorating!
