Lemon Cake from Dr. Oetker. The classic, simply homemade with a guarantee of success. Refreshingly lemony and wonderfully juicy in taste!
This baking mix contains
- 375 g baking mix for the dough
- 150 g glaze mix
You will need additionally
Loaf pan (25 x 11 cm), some fat, some wheat flour
Just add: 150 g soft margarine or butter, 3 eggs (size Medium), 100 ml milk, about 3 tablespoons hot water
Preparation
1 Prepare the dough: Grease and flour the loaf tin. Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: around 180°C Convection: around 160°C Put the baking mixture for the dough in a mixing bowl, add the margarine or butter, eggs and milk. Process everything with a mixer (stirring rods) briefly on the lowest level, then on the highest level for about 3 minutes to form a smooth dough.
2 Baking: Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth out. Put the dish on the rack in the oven. Insertion: lower third Baking time: approx. 60 min. After approx. 15 min. baking time, use a sharp knife to cut the cake lengthwise down the middle approx. 1 cm deep.
3 Glazing: Leave the cake in the tin for 10 minutes, then remove it and glaze immediately. Pour the glaze mixture into a small bowl. Add hot water, mix to a thick icing, then pour onto the cake and spread with a knife. Let the cake cool on a cake rack.
