This baking mix contains

  • 350 g baking mix for the dough
  • 55 g chocolate flakes
  • 90 g cocoa-based icing

You will need additionally

Loaf pan (25 x 11 cm), some fat, some wheat flour

Just add: 150 g soft margarine or butter, 2 eggs (size M), 80 ml milk

Preparation

1 Prepare the dough: Grease and flour the loaf tin. Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: around 180°C Convection: around 160°C Put the baking mixture in a mixing bowl, add the margarine or butter, eggs and milk. Process everything with a mixer (stirring rods) briefly on the lowest level, then on the highest level for about 3 minutes to form a smooth dough. Stir in the chocolate flakes evenly.

2 Baking: Pour the batter into the loaf tin and smooth it out. Put the dish on the rack in the oven. Insertion: lower third Baking time: approx. 55 min. After approx. 15 min. baking time, cut the cake lengthwise in the middle about 1 cm deep with a sharp knife.

3 Glazing: Leave the cake in the tin for 10 minutes, then remove it and let it cool on a wire rack. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, remove from heat, place icing bag in and leave for about 10 minutes. Dry the bag, knead well, cut open. Pour the frosting onto the cake, spread with a knife and allow to set.
