The pack contains:

  • 335 g baking mix
  • 100 g chocolate flakes

You will also need:

  • Springform pan (Ø 26 cm), some fat
  • 1 glass sour cherries (drained weight 350 g)
  • 175 g soft margarine or butter
  • 3 eggs (size M)


Grease the base of the springform pan.

Preheat oven. Top/bottom heat: around 170°C Hot air: around 150°C

Drain the sour cherries well in a sieve.


Place the baking mixture in a mixing bowl. Add margarine or butter and eggs, process with a mixer (stirring rods) on the highest level for 3 minutes to form a smooth dough. Then add the chocolate flakes and stir briefly.

Pour the dough into the mold and smooth it out, spread the sour cherries on top, leaving about 1 cm free around the edge.


Put the dish on the rack in the oven. Insertion: lower third Baking time: approx. 60 min.

Remove the edge of the springform tin and the cake from the base, but allow to cool with the base of the springform tin on a wire rack.

Before serving, dust with powdered sugar if you like.
